Shyabu Shyabu? Sukiyaki? Nope nope nope, it's Gyutan Time!!! (Cow tongue)
Gyutan Ara is located close to the Tokyo station, so if you arrived in Tokyo, need some stamina and ok with cow tongue then Ara is the place to be! They are opened also for dinner time but I really wanted to have the Gyutan lunch set I visited during lunch time:) The lunch set comes with rice bowl, soup, and grated yam to pour into your rice bowl. Different from the taste of rib or chuck, tongue is grilled with charcoal and has it's smokey flavor. When you bite, despite of it's look all those juice will burst out and run down your throat. Then it begins, the unfinity loop of gyutan - rice - soup - pickles, over and over again. So happy!
牛タンのお時間がやってきたので、東京駅八重洲口から徒歩３分くらいの牛タン荒にいってきました！夜もやっるみたいだったけど、やっぱ牛タンは定食でしょ！（？）ということでランチタイムに行きました！11時半は流石に誰もいない。けど独り占め♪アメリカのプライムリブとかリブロースステーキとかは美味しいけど、脂身のない牛タン最高ですょ。。。さっぱりなのに噛んだらジューシーだしなんか炭火焼き独特の旨味もあるし。。無限の牛タン→ご飯→スープの至福のループに入って幸せだったのです。
