TIMELESS "KATSUDON" by YAMATO〈浅草のおばあちゃんのカツ丼〉

Another food porn from Asakusa. This time is our all time favorite Katsudon! This fried pork stewed over egg donburi is a classic Japanese meal loved by everybody. And Yamamo serves one of the best here in Asakusa.

This place says that it is a soba restaurant but they have all kinds of menu, but I think every meal comes with al least little bit of soba like my one here. The "Katsudon" was so perfect from the sweetness of the soy-based sauce and the soft tenderness of the fried pork. I remeber finishing so fast since I was super hungry. lol

I think this place is run by an old couple which sometimes might take time to have your meal, but it is worth it!

お腹ペコペコで訪れた浅草のやまとのカツ丼は精神的にも肉体的にもかなり満たされました。笑　たぶん老夫婦のお店ということで中は昭和、食事が出て来るのは少し遅い（でもしょうがない）け　ど！なんというか、これぞカツ丼というカツ丼に出会えたのがかなり嬉しかったです。タレは少し濃い目、カツはしっとり、卵にもしっかり味がしみてる感じ。ジャイアン好きそうな感じ！もちろん蕎麦屋ということでついてくるそばはめっちゃおいしい♡また行くのです！
