BUYING DUNGENESS CRAB@HALF MOON BAY〈①ハーフムーンベイでダンジネスクラブを買う〉

前回サンフランシスコでダンジネスクラブを食べてあまりにも美味しかった話をしたら、スーパーで買って家でも調理できるよ！と友達に教えてもらったんだけど、どうせ買うなら駄目もとで漁師さんから直接買いたいっ！ってので、ハーフムーンベイまでドライブして行ってきました〜♡

(Recently I had Dungeness Crab at San Francisco and it blew my mind. When I told about it to my friends, they told me that I can just buy some in Safeway and cook at home. Well that's tempting but I wanted to try the "Buy from the best - fisherman" thing, so we decide to take that chance and visit Half Moon Bay!)

うちからは１時間ちょいくらいだったかな？？港町のハーフムーンベイがこんなにレストランとかあって賑わっているとは思わなかったのでビックリ！久しぶりの晴天のせいか賑わってました☆

(It probably took about 1 hour and little bit from our place to Capistrano Rd in Half Moon Bay. Didn't know this place was little like fisherman's wharf and had couple of restaurants. Rare sunny sky it was!)

橋を渡って歩いていったら・・・おお！本当に売買してるぅ！ 「LIVE CRABS」が目印だそうです！

(After we crosse the bridge... they were selling! "LIVE CRABS" was the sign.)

ヤバイ！めっちゃいる！動いてるぅ〜！てか、デカイ！！！

(Uhhhhh so many moving! And huge size too!)

かなりサービスもいいお兄さん♪結局２杯買って23ドル。全然悪くない。とにかくとれたてだから新鮮。アメリカではかなりレアな甲殻類の新鮮さ♡♡♡

(We bought 2 and it was 23$, Not bad. And it is fresh out of sea from this morning and that's something rare in South Bay.)

こーんな袋にいれてもらえました！蟹たちもおとなしく収納されております。ちなみにトドも船の近くで泳いでました〜☆

(They put it in a little baggie! Good boys. Oh! And I saw sea lions around the boat too! Amazing!)
