NEW YEARS CARD ARE READY〈お正月の年賀はがき作成しました〉

といってもほぼ画用紙にお絵かきの練習でオフィシャルなものではないのですがぁ。。。まだまだ色を理解していないのでもっと実験的なものをやりたいなって思って小さいもの４枚でスタートしてみました。

(Nah, it's not that of fancy project. Just wanted to experiment with colors more cause of my lack of understanding of them. So I started small with 4 pieces.)

どうしても綺麗っぽい色で落ち着かないように自分を裏切っていくつもりでめちゃめちゃのせました。

(Tried not to settle with pretty colors. Especially the blue strip one was one of my big leap. And surprisingly my husband liked it the most!)

もう全部並べると絵具パーティやっ❗ (It's not a color partay!)

はぁーパレットにこんなに沢山色が並ぶのが嬉しい〜〜〜新鮮〜〜♡

(Sooo happy to see all these different colors on my palette.)

模様なんか描いてみちゃったり。。でも結局考えすぎて描かないほうがいいみたい。

(Did some patterns.. but nah, not my taste here.)

Targetで買ったこの子らもかなりいい味出します。(These babies from Target did a great job too.)

最後に金色をどばぁーっとかけて終わり。昔働いてた職場でこんなスプラッシュしてたディズニーの画家さんがいたなぁーって思い出しました。

(Splashed gold ink at the end and finished. It reminded me of David Willardson, a official Disney artist's work which I used to sell back in Japan.)

配色等はまだまだ。。って感じ。でも楽しかった！特に最後のふちのマスキングテープ剥がすところ！笑

(Color combination is not quite there yet, but it was fun! Especialy when I get to remove the masking tape from the edges! hehe)
