MOSAIC WORKSHOP 2nd WEEK 〈モザイクワークショップその②〉

Today was my 2nd Mosaic Workshop class and I am loving it. Not only the art itself but the atmosphere where we sit outside this beautiful artist's atelier and quietly working is just so soothing. It is my first piece of Mosaic and here it is!
Not bad huh? lol I tried to make a flower but it turned out to be a firework. oh well, it's ok! And it is a coaster for coffees:)
Just to remind, last time was this! Attaching the glass to make a pattern.
And then I filled in the grouting and smoothed it out. Looked easy when the professional do, but it was pretty hard.
I'm now designing and sketching my second piece and hopefully it will be better! Can't wait till next week!
今週は２回目のモザイクワークショップでした！やればやるほどハマるこの作業。前回は加工したグラスを貼っていく作業で、今回は仕上げ+まわりを埋めていく作業でした。初めての作品にしては悪くない気がする！笑 本当はお花のコースターにしたかったけど、花火になっちゃいました。。。次回作のデザインも今進めていてもう少し早大なものにできたらなーと思います♪
