DIY JAR LABELS 〈ペン１本でDIY調味料入れ〉

Here's something fun I did over the weekend!

Every time I opened the pantry I was hoping to see more organized package designs because the atmosphere were getting chaotic with all kind of labels. Inspired by couple of posts from Pinterest, and other life hacking websites, the key to organized looking pantry was...

1. Collect same jar for similar seasoning

Do NOT pick different shape or color size jars! It only makes it worse.

2. Black, White or Clear color jar is better.

To enhance the original color of the seasoning, keep it simple. Other colors are also good if you keep it unified.

After picking the right containers, prepare oil based pen and write the labels. I used the Sharpie bought in Michaels Craft Store.

Be careful of he size and height when you write. Also writing on glass is slippery so you may want to have creepers under.

For the fifth jar, I didn't have anything to storage yet so decided to use it as "random jar" and put anything that comes and goes.Maybe cereals, cookies or beans. Hmm... it's fun to think about the possibility :) Conduct the same procedure for the extra jar by and draw any pattern that you love! I preferred the Moroccan Boho Pattern.

Now I feel refreshed and happy every time I open the food pantry!

週末はビンとペンで一人遊びしてました。

PinterestやeimoのサイトでDIYの調味料入れを見てやってみました。アメリカの調味料のパッケージは可愛いけど多く食品庫にそろうと完全にカオス状態に。。。とりあえず実行するにあたって以下の２点気を付けました。

1.　同類の調味料（食品）には同じタイプの入れ物を用意すること

　 今回のジャーはアメリカのCost Plus World Marketで買いました。（このお店は本当に可愛い物で溢れてます！また別記事で紹介します）

2.　できれば黒、白または透明の入れ物がベター

　　食品そのものの色の美しさが生えるのでシンプルな色合いがいいと思います。ただ別の色でも統一されていればＯＫ。

入れ物の準備ができたら油性の白ペンでラベルを直接書いていきます。私はアメリカのクラフトストアMichaels Craft StoreでSharpieというペンを買いました。文字の大きさや高さ、またガラスに書く際は滑るのでご注意を。

５つ目のジャーは余分に買ったもので特にいれるものもなかったので、単発的に買ったものをいれるジャーとしてあえてラベルは書かず、大好きなモロッカンボホスタイルのパターンを描いてみました。これもならんでいると可愛い！

これで、食品庫あけるたびにハッピーになります。
