EEL DONBURI "TSUJIYA" 〈辻屋の鰻丼〉

It is a custom to eat eel in Japan during the summer to increase appetite and survive the hot summer season.

There are even actual dates to eat eel like holiday in Japan.

And it seems like eels are pretty famous in Gifu prefecture.

Just wanted to share this food porn for eel lovers.

I can still recall the scent of sweet sauce, burning charcoal and the sizzling eel... yum!

In "Tsujiya" the famous Eel Donburi (Ell on rice) is definitely what you should get.

I think you order the Donburi by choosing how many pieces of eel you want.

It goes great with the "Kimosui" (Soup with eel liver) and I remember finishing everything in a second.

Love the entrance look as well. So traditional and beautiful!

Now I'm hungry.

岐阜県関市で夏バテ寸前の体に取り入れた「辻屋」さんの鰻丼があまりにも美味しかったので載せます。

甘いタレの匂い、香ばしくパリと焼けた鰻の表面、そして炭火の香り。とすべてにおいて満たしてもらいました。
