GHIBLI MUSEUM HAPPINESS part 1〈三鷹の森ジブリ美術館①〉

I have been watching Ghibli (Hayao Miyazaki) films all my life, and every time I watch any of their films, I can recall every moment of my life which I can relate with the film. So Ghibli = my childhood and Ghibli Museum = a place where I can go back to my childhood, and I believe everybody who is visiting there are sensing the same.

This time my dearest friend got us the ticket and we can say we have dedicated this one day to this museum. (Let me tell you first that we are deep ghibli maniacs) ... We stay there from 10am-6pm. (Ok, no more questions! lol ) This is where we can witness and experience the beauty of Japanese animation and story telling. So I just wanted to share the wonderful experience we had here:)

*Just to be clear, any photography inside this museum is prohibited. But it is only the inside of the building. Outside is OK, so by respecting that, I have taken much picture as possible within that rule:)

As soon as you arrive in JR Mitaka Station, you will see this awesome looking Totoro theme bus waiting for you to pick up. It will be about 10 minutes on bus for the ride to the museum.

It is located just in from of the Inokashira Park with lots of trees. Perfect location right? Can you see the blurred statue? hehe

Signs showing the direction and already excited. The place is covered with lots of plants, I just love it!

And this creature is guarding the entrance all the time. Such a hard worker!

It is just since 2001 but feels like it's been here a long time. The Museum designed by Mr. Miyazaki by himself.

Can anyone tell what this can mean?? Watch Totoro and you'll see those 2 girls doing laundry and cleaning using this!

Even the drain have this funky looking faces! Yey!

You will also see the artists work here. Here is a wonderful painting of the window view.

To maintain its ghibli world, plants are essential here.

It's now 11:30 am and we are getting hungry! Let's go to part 2!!!

ジブリは私の子供時代でジブリ美術館は子供に戻れる場所なのであります！深夜のトトロ、日曜日のキキ、30回以上はみたもののけ、ハッピーになりたい時にみてた豚、学生の時感動した千尋、、、などあげるときりないですが、すべての映画は私の人生の思い出なのです☆

なので今回の一時帰国でどうしもここに行きたく、（大体すでに10回はいっているのですが）親愛なるジブリ仲間の友達にチケットをとってもらい、2人で10時から6時までみっちりいました。それくらい好きなので、最初にいっておきます。。。念のため。。。

もうアメリカにいたら気軽にすぐにはいけないし、心だけではなく写真にこの感じを残そう！と思って撮影が許可されている敷地内の建物の外のみ、色々な写真を撮ってみました！

別にそんな説明する必要もないですけど、、、いいですよねぇ♡笑

お腹も空いてきたのでパート２行きます！
