APPLYING TEMPERED GLASS ON BACKGROUND【強化ガラスを背景に貼っていく】

キャラクターのガラス貼りが終わったので、最後のガラスはすべて背景用の透明なガラスになります！そしてこのガラス達はIKEAから調達しちゃいましたん♡一枚＄５でかなりお財布に優しいので３枚かいました！コレね。クラフト用はかなり高いからIKEA様様です。

そして袋にいれて３回くらい金槌ではしを叩けばこーんなに粉々になるのです❗

(Since I'm all finished with my characters, now it's time for attaching the clear tempered glass! I bought these glass shelves from IKEA $5 a piece great deal. Put it in a bag and bang the side with hammer about 3 times and here I got these gorgeous pieces.)

できるだけ薄く、ステンドガラスと段差がでないようなものを選んだのでパリパリになるけど、大きいピースもとっておく。

(Choose the thin one I think it was 1/8 inch thick? So these would be not much gap between the height of already attached stained glass.)

もちろん最初にテストしたいので、余ってるボードで色合いをテスト。これがアクリル乗せた状態。

(Had to do test so prepared some sample pieces to see the color change once I attached the glasses.)

ラメをふってこれ。(Sprinkled some glitters.)

いつものタイルはWelbondを使ってるんだけど、今回はガラスの量が多いので先生オススメの樹脂を買ってみたのです！サンフランシスコにも店舗があるDouglas and Sturgessのエポキシ樹脂とそれを固めるもの２つ。２：１の割合でまぜてのせていきます。

(Usually I use Welbond for my stained glass pieces, but for tempered glass I bought an Epoxy and Hardener from Douglas & Sturges. Mix both 2:1.)

これがガラスをのせた状態。透明ガラスだからどこにのせてどこがまた空いているかわかりにくいから日の光をみながらで大変。なれないので３枚組みだけど、１枚に６時間かかりました。(；´Д｀)

(Here is how it looks once the glasses are attached. both glass and resin are clear so it's pretty hard to see where I put the glass or not. So for my 3 set piece I think it took about 18 hours to finish up. Approx.6 hrs a piece. omg)

うーん。これがどうでるか！楽しみ♡
