FRESH ABALONE FROM SANTA CRUZ〈サンタクルーズで買う生あわび♫〉

お久しぶり更新です⭐先週は可愛い妹ちゃんが遊びに来ていたのでしっかり日記サボってましたが、無事チェコに帰国したので、今週はおでかけや！ということで、清水君とサンタクルーズにいってきました！まだいったことなかったので、BROADWALK見てみたり行きたかったステンドガラスショップみたりもだけど、一番の目的はアワビだったのであります！
(Lone time no see! Since my lovely sister was here last week, I didn't have any time to write anything. But this week! We had to go out and the place was Santa Cruz! I wanted to see the Board Walk and all that but our main goal was to get some live abalones!)
Santa Cruzの少し西側にあるAMERICAN ABALONE FARMというアワビだけではなく、捕れたての魚介が買える場所です！え、ここに本当にあるの？というくらい奥まったところにあります。けど人は多い！みんな知ってるんだねぇ。
(Just the little west side of Santa Cruz there is this place called AMERICAN ABALONE FARM. Not only they sell abalones, they also have various seafoods too. Located in middle of nowhere so was worried if we can get there or not but found it! And lots of peeps there too! I guess everybody knows about this place.)
今日はちっさいアワビは一個５ドル。しかも１０個買ったら１個おまけ！
(So small abalones were 5$ each and if you buy 10 you'll get 1 free. What is this Target!? lol)
その場でフライか刺し身でも食べれます！もちろんうちらは刺し身で♫醤油じゃなくてポン酢で出してくれるなんて以外。笑 てか、アメリカは魚介類全部揚げちゃうんだってのに改めて面白いと思いました。アワビ揚げるかね。笑
(And you can also try some sashimi or fried abalone at the spot. I don't know but it is still funny to us why many people here fry everything here. lol No disrespect tho.)

ワタをとって塩でぬめりをとってつるつるです。
(Removed the guts and wash with salt so its not slimy anymore.)
これこれ！切ったこの感じ！
(Yes! Yes! This is the right feeling!)
本日のメニューはペペロンチーノ風アワビのパスタです！ガーリックめっちゃきかせちゃって最高です♡♡♡
(So today's menu was Abalone Peperoncino Pasta! So much garlic and I'm loving it!)
そしてもう一品は清水君のバター醤油♡これは間違いない。歯ごたえあって食べごたえもあり♡
(And soy sauce and butter grilled abalone by my husband. No doubt!)
いやー非常にいい外出でした♡欲しかったガラスの素材も変えたし、アワビ買う為にいく価値あり！1.5時間くらいかかるけど、Santa Cruz楽しかった♡
(I loved Santa Cruz♡ It was so chilled and had this relaxed feel. Abalone was great and even it takes like 1.5 hrs from our place it was totally worth it.)
