DREAM VISIT TO CERN【夢のCERN訪問】

せっかくのスイス旅行は友達に会うのはもちろんのこと、第２の目的はあのCERNに行くことなのでした！CERNてのは欧州原子核研究機構のことで、この記事でも書いた私の尊敬する村山斉先生の本で知った、素粒子をぶつけ合ってビッグバンをつくり、宇宙の始まりを研究している所なのです！

(So my goal of Switzerland trip was 1. Meet my friend and 2. Visit CERN! This is where the nuclear research are conduct by scientist to research the beginning of space/bigbang by colliding the particles. So cool... I learned about this place from my favorite professor Hitoshi Murayama written about him before HERE. hehe)

もちろん中には入れないので近くにある施設にいきましたが、もう興奮。

(Of course I couldn't go inside but other facilities were open to public and we were super excited!)

入り口には「私達はどこからきたのか？」という村山先生の講義でも必ず冒頭にでてくる言葉があってもう泣きそう。

(The phrase "Where do we come from" is that Mr. Murayama always said in his lectures.)

このおしゃれ〜な空間に色々おもしろいものがありました。

(Such a fancy place where they displayed some cooklstuff.)

最近ノーベル賞をとったヒッグス粒子の論文。

(Higgs Boson article that won the Nobel Prize.)

超ひも理論？の式だったかなぁこれは。

(Sting theory? I think it was? Don't remember.)

外のオブジェにも色んな数式が書いてあった。数学者はこれを読むなんてかっこいいなぁ！

(Many kind of equation was written on the object outside. Fascinating that scientist speak in these languages.)

これが素粒子を飛ばしてる山手線くらいあるLHC（加速器）の模型だって！しかも１輪じゃなくて４段階で加速させるんだって！

(This was the sample of LHC size of Yamanote Line what accelerates the particles. There not only 1 but 4 steps to accelerate it!)

こんな研究所が職場なんてめちゃかっこいいなぁ♡はぁー憧れの場所にもいけてスイス大満足でした♡

(How cool it is if my workplace was here. Visited my dream place and one of my dreams came true!)
