CHESTNUT PICKING at SKYLINE CHESTNUT【スカイラインチェスナットで秋の栗拾い🌰】

またまた秋の一大イベントを見つけてくれたので友達とみんなでSKYLINE CHESTNUTへ栗拾いへいってきました♡家から40分くらいのところにある栗農園。マネジャーもすごく感じのいい人❗

(Once again, my husband found an amazing autumn activity for us so we all went chestnut picking at SKYLINE CHESTNUT. Only 40min drive from our place and the manager of the farm was super nice!)

こんな栗の木が沢山生えてます。(Beautiful chestnut tree all over the farm.)

そしてイガイガがごろごろ❗このイガイガと落ち葉の間をかきわけて栗を探します。

(We have to swipe around the leaves to find the chestnuts.)

色んな種類がありますが、ぷっくりしてて可愛い♡

(Several types of chestnut round fat and cute ones.)

そこらじゅう栗だらけ。でもオススメスポットはみんなが行きたがらない急斜面。ハイリスク・ハイリターンです。

(It's just everywhere. But the best place to find is the steep side hill where kids can not go. hehehe)

かなり山の上のほうまで来てるので、少し上がればこんな景色がっ♡

(The drive takes us to pretty high place so we'll also get this beautiful view.)

結局5.3LB(約2.4kg)分ひろいました❗かなり頑張ったからめっちゃ身体痛い、そして重い❗これで$36くらい❗アメリカのピッキングは入場料は無料で拾った分だけ払うのでかなりいい値段✨

(We ended up with 5.3LB of chestnuts for $36. Not bad at all.)

ここでははちみつも作っていたので、テイスティングもしてて美味しかったので２つ購入。一個$7くらい。

(They were also making honeys and let us taste so we bought 2 for $12.)

晩御飯は美味しい栗入り中華おこわ作ってみんなでお疲れパーティしました♫

(The main dish of our dinner party was Chu-kaOkowa, a sticky rice with chestnuts. Yums!)

楽しかった！是非また行きたいし、今回の教訓は「栗拾いはかなりタフ」なので、準備運動とハイキング用の靴が必要ということです✨是非また来年も行きたいー♫

(It was so much fun! One thing I've learned was chestnut picking is tough and I'll need enough excercise and a hiking shoes to be prepared. Def next year too!)
