2018 NEW YEAR MEAL by ME❗〈2018年初の自作おせち料理〉

毎年年末とお正月は日本の実家なんだけど、現在グリーンカード申請中ということでせっかくだからちゃんとお正月料理やろーってのをフロリダの旅行中に思いついて実践しました❗29日に帰ってきて30に買い出し、31日に仕込みで大したものはないけど結構それなりにできた木がする❗

(Usually we spent the new years in Japan, but since we're applying for greencard now and can not leave the country I decided to do traditional new year "Osechi" meal by myself for the first time. So came back from Florida visit on 29, went shopping on 30 and pre-cooked on 31.)

大根とブリのすましお雑煮、焼海老、かまぼこのイクラのせ、れんこんの酢漬け、栗の甘露煮、黒豆、数の子おかか、豚の角煮、茶豆です♡

(I think I did pretty well! Yellowtail & daikon & rice cake soup, fishcake with ikura, roots on vinegar, sweet cooked chestnuts, fish eggs, pork belly cooked with soy sauce and edamame.)

ちなみにここからが去年の実家の。レベル高すぎ。さすがにこんな感じはまだ無理です。笑

(BTW, this is from my mom last year. Too beautiful it's hard to reach this level...)
