[TOKYO FOOD MARATHON] "Mazesoba" by TSUKEMEN TETSU〈つけめん哲のまぜそば〉

TOKYO FOOD MARATHON is ON! By meaning the member of the "Good Food Seeking Committee - GFSC (member: currently only me lol) will seek for the best Japanese food. And where? Of course the place where you can find the best quality food --- TOKYO!
I came back to Tokyo after staying in San Jose for about 3 months and realized once again, you can not find the following contents anywhere else but in Tokyo.
1. High quality and freshness of the food
2. Well planned services
3. Cleanest toilets
But most of all, it food. Food. Foooooooood!
So I decided to just share some meal that I had here which I seriously missed when I was back in CA, and wanted to concentrate on "Good Old Japanese Food".
So first night here we go!
- "TSUKEMEN TETSU" in Shinagawa, Menu: "Mazesoba"
If you're Ramen lover but want to try something different, go for "Mazesoba". This is is a ramen style without the soup but much thicker sauce matches greatly with the thick noodle. TETSU serves quite uniquely with a separate soup bowl with egg, spice and back fat which you will pour in by yourself. Then mix everything up so the spices and chunk of garlic (yum!) will spread though out the noodle and go for it!
You'll realize the thickness of the noodle in your first bite because the noodles will push back against your teeth. Then comes the creaminess of the back fat that will boost your appetite and scent of the sea and garlic as a great accent. Chewing repeatedly will make you feel like "YES, I AM HAVING A MEAL!" and you will definitely feel the satisfaction which normal Ramen can not give you.
After having this I knew my #tokyofoodmarathon will be good. Gochisousama!
カリフォルニアから３ヶ月ぶりの日本。もう日本食が恋しくて恋しくて恋しくて。。。とにかく日本の食、サービス、そして清潔なトイレに再度感動したものの、やはり”食”なので、"Good Food Seeking Committee - GFSCのメンバーとして（私１人w）#東京フードマラソンを一人で開催することにしました。笑
なので１件目は”つけめん哲”！とにかく美味しいラーメンが食べたく、しかも個人的にはまぜそばやつけめん派だったので、品川の店舗へGOしました！ボリューム満点の太麺と見るからにヤバそうなニンニクと背脂。。。ガーっと混ぜてかきこんでやりました！笑
弾力のあるモチモチ麺、濃厚な背脂とツンとくるニンニクにダシの香り。。。最高なのであります。
まだ少しの間日本にいるので、こんなこと書いていっちゃったりしよーと考えております☆
