I LOVE JAPAN TRIP part2

After passing the Torii, next you'll see the beautiful Itsukushima Shrine itself. The Shinto shrine, also listed as UNESCO world heritage site, is a shrine dedicated to the sea & storm God. Together with the Torii, this place shows 2 different faces when the sea level changes. There is no wonder this floating shrine and torii attracts so many people from all around the world.

My personal favorite point is the color.

Walking by yourself, you can imagine the past emperors or generals strolling down the hallway. hmm that was fun!

If you're shrine stamp collector, I definitely recommend you to receive your Itsukushima Shrine Stamp. Of course after you pray:)

This time I forgot my Stamp Notebook so I asked for the strip and paid 500 yen.

If you want to review the procedure of praying, view my past article! here→

The shrine itself is not that big, but if you're attracted to the beauty you'll never have enough time here.
