I LOVE JAPAN TRIP part 1
After my 30th birthday I had this strong urge to travel. But not to foreign countries but within Japan to realize the beauty of my country. I decided to call it "I LOVE Japan Trip" and set couple rules to fully enjoy this trip.
1. Travel alone.
2. Be offline as possible. (Completely offline is impossible because I can't read maps lol)
3. Take the cheapest local bus and trains ant not bullet trains.
4. Stay in guest house or hotel.
5. Save everything in my camera
6. Travel with 1 bag pack
I'm sure there were little more but this is all I remember.
So to start my trip I took the midnight bus from Nagoya to Hiroshima. The reason why I decided to start my trip from Hiroshima is because of the Atomic Bomb Museum. The importance of learning and understanding what happened to my country was important and the recent United States President Obama's visit to Hiroshima after 70years from end of the war was simply moving and wanted to feel the same air.
Midnight bus wasn't that tough. If your body is in good condition. After 7 hours (staring from 11pm-ish) Arrived in Hiroshima early in the morning. Moved straight to Miyajima to visit the Itsukushima Shrine, where I could see the beautiful Torii (Grand Frame) and it did not disappoint me at all.

This beautiful grand entrance floating in the water was absolutely mesmerizing! If you have a chance to visit, you want to be sure if you want to see the Torii in water or out of water. Depending on time, high or low tide will change the whole look. Here's when it is during low water.

It is amazing to see the bottom of the Torii where it is usually under water. As you can see the Torii itself is not deeply buried but a lot of heavy rocks are build in on the top of the Torii, making it very stiff. It is unbelievable that people from 100 years ago used this technique so that this Torii won't fall down or collapse in this earthquake country. Your can check the tide prediction online so I recommend you do so!
My trip report will continue:)
I LOVE JAPAN TRIP
