I LOVE JAPAN TRIP part12

I am not trying to summarize my "I LOVE JAPAN TRIP" already, but I have to say, my best decision of this trip was that I visited the "Adachi Museum" located in Shimane prefecture. So far I have traveled staring from Hiroshima - Okayama - Kagawa, and then at Shimane. So the reason why this was my best decision is this place gave me a whole new idea toward tradition Japanese Art.

It is true that I had this stereotype toward Japanese Art as "old-fashioned" and "superficial" for some reason. However when I enter the museum and stand in fron of the multiple award winning "Best Japanese Garden" I was... well SHOCKED!

The above concept of the window built inside the museum is "The outside landscape is so beautiful it is almost like a piece of art and not a window." Absolutely stunning!

Museum will guide you through the hall ways through slightly blue glass to introduce you the beautiful garden. The garden is perfectly maintained and clean. I can feel the respect of the workers toward this garden.

Also hallways outside to feel the real color and breathe fresh air.

The Japanese Art piece collection inside was so incredible, but due to the strict rules, I couldn't take any pictures and I respect that very much. (Official site : )

If I can try to describe in words, it was all delicate, elegant but yet very simple art which you can appreciate every line, color and even the blank space of the paper. There was a unique energy inside the museum which you can almost feel that these elegant art was healing you in some way. Japanese Art became a different thing for me, which I now have so much respect toward it and was grateful to be here. Thanks!

Japanese Painting Artist

- Taikan Yokoyama - Best landscape artist

- Shinsui Ito - Best portrait artist
